Value Added Enhancements
Return Springs
|
Heavy Duty
Return Springs. The Heavy Duty Return Springs have a higher pull
strength to reduce chatter and to provide quicker return of the
shoes upon brake release. All springs are shot peened to toughen
the metal and reduce stress. |
Brake Rollers
|
Brake rollers
are made of hardened steel and heat treated to provide maximum
performance. All rollers are knurled with a pyramid point to
assure turn of the roller against the camshaft. All edges have a
radius to reduce wear points against the camshaft. The parts then
are plated gold with zinc dichromate to provide resistance to
corrosion. |
Anchor Pins
|
Anchor Pins are made of hardened steel, heat-treated and then
plated with hardened chrome to provide maximum performance and
wear. Grease grooves are added for efficient distribution of
lubricant to reduce wear and aid performance of the brake
components. |
